Build Leadership Skills
  • Coaching and Feedback - This two-day course builds interpersonal skills essential to effective management. This includes how to create a foundation of trust and common understanding. Participants build the skills for productive coaching sessions and techniques for providing performance-enhancing feedback.

  • Leader as Coach - A lively course designed to enhance your existing coaching skills, Leader as Coach provides new techniques to bring out excellence in others. Through extensive first-hand practice, this workshop instills skills and tools of the coaching trade to empower your people to higher work performance, productivity, and satisfaction in general.

  • Productive Conversations - Uncovering our own mental models--and those of others--is a fundamental conversational skill that leads to breakthroughs in mutual understanding. This course offers proven tools and practices that open channels of communication and result in empathy and true collaboration.

  • Getting Results in Complex Systems - This course helps leaders to employ systems thinking as a highly effective perspective for approaching problems. Explained briefly as the ability to see the whole versus just its parts, systems thinking identifies root causes (versus treating symptoms) and expands leaders' tool kit for dealing with chronic, difficult issues.

  • Power of Aspiration - This course engenders visionary leadership that can stay the course, yet flex and adapt strategically when needed. Leaders at all levels learn to: prioritize when there are multiple desired results, recalibrate direction in changing circumstances, tap into natural creativity for energy and innovation, and choose the most direct path to their goals.

  • The Art and Skill of Feedback - This course develops the oft-neglected skills of giving, receiving, and asking for feedback. Perceived by many as an unwelcome management responsibility, constructive feedback is actually critical to improvement. Skills such as being very specific, balancing what worked with what didn't, and turning "lessons learned" into genuine opportunities for growth take the discomfort out of giving (and receiving) honest feedback.

  • The Healthy Team - We take a multifaceted approach to team health, focusing on: communication, stress/energy management, emotional intelligence, readiness for change, and commitment management (making authentic commitments generates an energizing environment of respect). This three-day course details characteristics of a healthy team and identifies standards of success.

  • The Healthy Executive - Our holistic concepts of personal sustainability are at the heart of this 3-day training program. Participants learn that value systems, stress management techniques, and connection to internal sources of energy are vital characteristics of a healthy leader. Senior and emerging executives learn pragmatic behaviors for work and life: they learn to source their inner energy, hone their leadership style, and strike a balanced view that includes their own health as a resource.
